TimeOut: I like to think that the Garage Beer Co started like Apple: in a garage. With two friends who wanted to make craft beer and ended up flying the Millennium Falcon of hops. With a humble idea that turned into a colossal triumph.

Once you step inside you notice that you’re not in any old craft beer bar. This is a high-ceilinged, deep, greyish industrial space. It clearly emulates a garage, but that sensation is broken up here and there by the tall tables and stools as you enter.

The granite bar acts as the perfect bunker for those who don’t want to venture too far into the belly of this tavern 2.0. The industrial design, which you’ll also see in this massive altar, is the aesthetic leitmotif of a floor that also features a lounge full of hipster-inspired retro sofas. And at the back, the jewel in the crown: a small factory where the Garage Beer Co team brew up their own beer. Easy peasy.
